The Pope is a JOKE!
I have been tring to find information related to the Pope’s involvement in that hored CATHOLIC priest sex scandal that seems to NEVER stop! And here is the begining of some of what I haev previously located. Basically, Pope Benedict has had a direct had in the cover-ups of these sexual abuse cases. To the point the he specifically approved the moving of priests accused of sexual misconduct/abuse to other locales. He also is responsible for the blatant cover-up that went on for years. The man is sick. Warped. And has managed to succeed in covering up his own issues, to then go on and “lead” the Catholic faith. Believe me, I will do much more research and continue to add. THe world need to know… to understand for sure, that the Pope is not at ALL who he claims to be and represent. I would think God is sorely dissappointed in his being selected for the papal spot.
Pope is immune from lawsuit in sex abuse case, U.S. says
September 21, 2005
Rome // The U.S. Justice Department has told a Texas court that a lawsuit accusing Pope Benedict XVI
of conspiring to cover up the sexual molestation of three boys by a
seminarian should be dismissed because the pontiff enjoys immunity as
head of state of the Holy See.Assistant U.S. Attorney General Peter Keisler said in Monday’s
filing that allowing the lawsuit to proceed would be “incompatible with
the United States’ foreign policy interests.”……The lawsuit alleges Ratzinger, who headed the Vatican’s Congregation
for the Doctrine of the Faith before becoming pope, was involved in a
conspiracy to hide Patino-Arango’s crimes.
I wonder what else the Pope is immune from, in the name of better international affairs.
Why Can’t We Work Together? pt 2
Good Lord. As if Jesse Jackson talking about cutting Mr Obama’s nuts off, he had (has) the NERVE to refer to blacks as “niggers” during his recent rant about wanting to chop Barack’s nuts off.! That’s right, you read it correctly. And after such absolutely foul statements, all anyone gets for a follow up is basically.. “my bad.. I didn’t know anyone was listening…”
CHICAGO, Illinois (AP) — The Rev. Jesse Jackson used the N-word during a break in a TV interview where he criticized presidential candidate Barack Obama, Fox News confirmed Wednesday.
The Rev. Jesse Jackson apologized to Sen. Obama’s campaign last week over “hurtful” remarks. The longtime civil rights leader already came under fire this month for crude off-air comments he made against Obama in what he thought was a private conversation during a taping of a “Fox & Friends” news show.
In additional comments from that same conversation, first reported by TVNewser, Jackson is reported to have said Obama was “talking down to black people,” and referred to blacks with the N-word when he said Obama was telling them “how to behave.”
You are appaling, sir. Maybe you need a vcation. One thing is for sure. You no longer need to claim to represent the positive ideals and ideas of the African American community in this country. Your verbal attack on an absolutely upstanding, motivating, shining star like Barack Obama has fairly well confirmed to the nation that you no longer maintain a base of rational thinking. Take a break… and give us one!

Keep Spending, Go Broke… Stop Spending, Help Ruin the Economy
Oh, the grandeur of inflation! Dictionary.com defines inflation as “a persistent, substantial rise in the general level of prices related to an increase in the volume of money and resulting in the loss of value of currency (opposed to deflation)”. No kidding.
NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com)
Prices paid at the retail level were up 5% on an annual basis in June, the biggest 12-month change since May 1991 – an annual figure that was skewed by the surge in gasoline prices related to the first Gulf War.
A separate Labor Department report showed the average hourly wage up only 3.4% over the same 12-month period, meaning the typical American is having trouble keeping up with the price increases.
The 12-month rise in core CPI is now up 2.4%, up from a 2.3% rise in that reading in May.
Fed chairman’s gloom Bernanke, in testimony to a Senate committee Tuesday warned that could pose a risk for the economy.
“Rapid increases in the prices of energy and other commodities…have sapped household purchasing power even as they have boosted inflation,” he said in testimony he is set to repeat to a House committee Wednesday.”
SO, Basically, as a nation we are better off how things were about a year ago. We get a national increase in minimum wage, and instead of the government doing anything to make that increase advantageous to us Americans, they contribute to a worsening economy and to the sharp decline in consumer confidence. Governments allow things to go on, like Cedar Rapids, Ia. dumping ALL of its solid waste directly in to the Cedar River for weeks following the major flood we had here, non-stop, because the water treatment plant has been completely down for weeks, until this week. Instead of requiring the use of Port-a-potty’s where ever plausible/possible/applicable. Long term result will be probably billions spent on environmental clean up, massive wildlife/fish losses not just regionally, but globally.
Gas is out of control, and our government is stalling on doing anything about it. And why would they when this countries own “leader” would lose money if that were to happen. And we all know that bush’s 2 terms were really a means for him to rake in even MORE money into his own oil businesses. Did you all forget that the bush’s owe their wealth to oil and the ill-gotten ways in which they have reaped the “rewards”?
I’ll say it here and now.. bush’s ties to mid-east oil is the reason for 9/11. Do the deep research, people.
So, now here we are. Asshole is almost out of office and our economy is the WORST it has been since before his first term. Thanks Asshole bush! And this is what is in store for America in our near future…
“[Bernanke] also warned that spending by consumers, which provides nearly three-quarters of the nation’s economic activity, “seems likely to be restrained over coming quarters” and that price increases could also make businesses cautious about their own spending plans.
As everything involving money worsens in this country, we spend less. As we spend less, things worsen for this country. It’s a perpetual cycle that HAS to be broken. We can start by electing (and refusing to accept a faulted, one-sided election process that rewards the counted loser.. bush) a person who has this nations economic future on his mind for the immediate future.. McCain? He wants a continued multi-multi-billion dollar war. He wants continued tax breaks for the likes of himself and his cronies. He talks of building bases in the lands that we are illegally occupying. Go ahead, McCain, lead us into more war and a depression, just like your boyfriend, bush.
People, please take a stand for your rights to have your head above water. For your rights to be able to provide for your family on less than three jobs per parent. For your right to be able to afford to drive to work. Stand up, People!
From the Supporter of White Supremists
McCain…Says the worst educational problems often in schools in black communities…
CINCINNATI – John McCain is telling the NAACP he will expand education opportunities for children in failing schools…
“If I am elected president, school choice for all who want it, an expansion of opportunity scholarships and alternative certification for teachers will all be part of a serious agenda of education reform,” McCain said in the excerpts.
“After decades of hearing the same big promises from the public education establishment, and seeing the same poor results, it is surely time to shake off old ways and to demand new reforms,” he said. “That isn’t just my opinion. It is the conviction of parents in poor neighborhoods across this nation who want better lives for their children.”
Really? Maybe we should take a look back at a previous post. Remember all the quotes coming from McCain’s mouth with no retractions, all the white supremacist that he supports. It wouldn’t surprise me if, since the NAACP includes the outdated term “Colored”, Mr McCain starts referring to African Americans as “colored people”. And to be clear, through most of his speech to the NAACP, he refers more to “poor children” and “poor communities”… John, You’re talking to the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored [Black] People)! Does is hurt your mouth, or your brain to say “black”? Because the organization your are (were) speaking to represents BLACK people, poor or otherwise. Bush has already failed the minority community with his so-called “No Child Left Behind” program. It appears obvious that your plan is the same.
Then there’s the “Merritt Pay” program. What? Are you sick? So, if the student isn’t being driven at home to learn correctly, you are going to dock the teacher. I suppose you are all for an increase in Baseball players’ salaries, too. How about a broad reform of how (as well as how MUCH) teachers are paid. Never that, though. You are more for increasing your own pay and the income of the already too wastefully rich, than for making sure the people who teach our children are properly compensated. Good job, jackass. We WILL hold you to your words, should we be unfortunate enough to be stuck with you (george w bush, III) as our next president. But really many of us are just hoping (imagine that) that Obama comes out ahead.
And for those out there who may contend that I am one-sided, please no that I am on the prowl for mixed messages from Obama. I am holding on to faith that he will continue to keep it real, but be asured that I am researching and WIL call him out on blatant flip-flopping, and anything spoken that seems to benefit the rich.

Why Can’t We Work Together?
I can’t imagine just how difficult it must truly be to try to run for public office. Any public office seat. And as you move up through the ranks, the dedication, drive and ambition needed to not only continue the pursuit, but also to win… it must be immense! Then you throw into the mix being a minority (ethnic, sexual, etc.) and you can go ahead and multiply those difficulties times infinity. So, when the future of a nation and it’s prospective new leader partially hinders on how well we as a party, as a nation, can get along and work together… Statements like the following, made by a supposed minister, Rev. Jesse Jackson, certainly do nothing to unite parties, or even people.
CHICAGO, Illinois (CNN) — The Rev. Jesse Jackson apologized Wednesday for “crude and hurtful” remarks he made about Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama after an interview with a Fox News correspondent.
The remarks came Sunday as Jackson was talking to a fellow interviewee, UnitedHealth Group executive Dr. Reed V. Tuckson. An open microphone picked up Jackson whispering, “See, Barack’s been talking down to black people … I want to cut his nuts off.”
Jackson told CNN’s “Situation Room” that he didn’t realize the microphone was on.
“It was very private,” Jackson said, adding that if “any hurt or harm has been caused to his campaign, I apologize.”
I’m sorry, what the hell did you just say? And about a fellow African-American, christian, fellow politician , fellow American? You want to cut his nuts off? Hell, do you want to lynch him, too, while you’re at it? Are you sick? You, over the past several years, have seriously fallen off the normalcy wagon and have hitched a ride on the crazy bus. I’m real tired of people who clearly know better, opening their trap and saying whatever they feel, and then try to stuff their words in a closet.
Jackson replied, “No,” when asked Thursday if he thought the presumptive Democratic nominee talks down to African-Americans.
The civil rights leader told CNN’s “Situation Room” on Wednesday that he didn’t realize the microphone was on at the time. He said he was having a private conversation, and it did not occur to him that it would be picked up.
So, as long as you don’t suspect anyone is listening, then it’s ok to demean and insult any/everyone. However, if it is later realized that there was indeed a live mic, then the statements made in your little “private conversations” you chose to have are all of the sudden “not true”. Nice. How convenient. Way to go, representative of God. Thanks to Him that you never made it to the presidency. He (God) must have known you would disappoint Him so in the future.
Jesse Jackson is (now) an embarrassment, to both the country and to people of color. I think Mr. Jackson needs to heed many of the words spoken by Bill Cosby over the last few years. Mr. Cosby has spoken to, and about, the dysfunctional, happily misinformed, self-serving, expect everything from everyone else African-Americans in and out of this country. And despite the fact that many of those statements made by Mr Cosby were initially directed towards the audience to which he was immediately speaking, it is more than clear that he meant (means) to include a larger number of minorities than just those immediately present. Yes, Mr Jackson, you should be included. You, clearly, need to be put in your place. And if you feel you have been “talked down to”, maybe you should take a serious inventory of yourself and see why you feel that way. Instead of whining and voicing violent acts toward another man. ESPECIALLY when you choose to speak about “cutting [his]nuts off”. You owe him, and the American people more than a simple apology. And if you cannot get that accomplished, maybe you should seriously consider removing yourself from those bright lights of the camera (and those sensitive elements in microphones).
I never imagined I would lead a charge to “condemn” the words of a fellow minority, and one known world-wide no less. Yet, Here I am. And here it goes. As far as I’m concerned, the statement made by Mr. Jackson requires much more than a simple “my bad” !

The Racist, John McCain?
Is John McCain a blatant racist? You do some research, ask some hard questions, and then you come up with your own answer. As for me, my opinion is that John McCain is an absolute closet racist. I tell ya what. Do a simple Google search to the tune of “.. racist remarks from John McCain…” I have gotten over 100,000 hits. Now, read the statements and the rebuttals. Please take a CLOSE look at the individuals and ideals that John McCain supports and embraces. Really? That idiot control freak wants to be our next leader? Whatever you do, do NOT let that happen. And please. don’t stop with just McCain; check the thinking of ALL of the presidential candidates. Check what they say. Check who they employ. Hold them to their words! “Work From Home” on Google groups has an interesting take. In this day and age, the LAST thing this country and world needs is a closet racist president

Quit Your Job, Help the Community!
CNN:Heroes
BIRMINGHAM, Alabama (CNN) — If Russell Jackson has his way, any child who needs medical care but lacks the transportation to get there will have a safe and reliable alternative.
Recently, thanks in part to the unbelievable weather blasting this planet, from one corner to another, I have started to take a closer look at just how much community involvement the average person takes part in. More importantly, just what community issues I am involved in. With over $1 Billion in damaged and or lost property in my city alone as of this last month, I have been overwhelmed with a need to help. To be more active and productive in the big picture here. I don’t have much.. no car, living with friends/extended family. I have a decent job, but can’t seem to get much money saved, at least not in a quick manner. I have chronic asthma, had a heart attack last year.. so working around excessive levels of mold and feces “dust” is not really an option for me if I enjoy taking a normal breath …. ever. And I do. So, with health issues keeping me from proving some aspects beck to my community, I am looking for other long-term options. And then I came across this article about Mr, Russell Jackson. This man quit his job as a fireman in order to start up a non-profit group dedicated to providing transportation for kids in Alabama with medical needs. WHAT!?!
… Jackson is so determined that in 1997 he gave up his career as an Alabama firefighter, moved in with friends and dug into his retirement account to start Kid One Transport, a nonprofit organization that provides rides for needy children in his home state.
In 11 years, Kid One’s fleet of vans has ferried more than 16,000 kids to and from scheduled medical-related appointments all over Alabama
Amazing. How fulfilling and wonderful. I think it should almost be required for people to take some sort of training, to become educated in the benefits and more importantly the need for communities to come together via individual sacrifice. To quite your job, and one so admirable and needed as a firefighter, in order to help a greater need.. to serve a greater good…. that is amazing. May God bless me with such insight and caring. May He bless all of us with some of that. Could make for a better world, wouldn’t you agree?
